​Fathom Five National Marine Park

The Fathom Five National Marine Park encompasses the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula and is surrounded by both the water bodies of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.  
On the eastern side the Niagara Escarpment's towering cliffs dramatically rise up from the rocky shores of the Georgian Bay coastline. As one moves west inland, these cliffs give way to large tracts of forests and wetlands as the land gradually levels to the sandy shores and beaches typical of the western coastlines of Lake Huron. 
Both sides of the peninsula provide a unique micro climate and place of refuge to a diverse variety of both flora and fauna species.
The eco system is abundant with rare orchids, ferns and ancient cedar trees, as well, many species of animals make this habitat their home providing the observer a true naturalists paradise.
